After the shower, I had hoped we were going to fuck again, but Brandon looked at me sternly. ‘Pack a bag,’ he said. ‘Take everything you need. You have a new home now.’

‘What?!’ I cried, outraged. ‘What do you mean, a new home?’

‘In Malibu,’ Brandon shrugged.

‘Pacific Coast Highway, baby,’ grinned Kye, throwing me a towel.

‘But my family are here. My job…’

Brandon grabbed a bag off my floor and threw it onto the bed. ‘You don’t need to work at the coffee house any more, Destiny. Unless you want to. In which case we can fix you up with a nice job in Malibu.’

‘But how will I pay the bills?’ I asked, for some reason being really slow to catch on. I can be like that sometimes. A bit slow.

‘Destiny. You belong to us now. We’re going to take care of you.’

I bit my lip, wondering whether or not to take issue with the word ‘belong’. I ain’t your possession! I almost shouted. But then I thought about what being their possession entailed. I got to fuck my two best friends whenever I wanted, and I got to live in a mansion on the beach in California. Perhaps ‘belonging’ to Brandon and Kye wasn’t so bad after all.

‘Your family can come visit whenever you like,’ added Kye. ‘We can get them someplace nice in Malibu, if you like. We’ll talk about it later, OK?’

‘OK,’ I nodded, trying to focus on what on earth I needed to pack. It was hard to concentrate! Shit, my whole was being turned upside down!’

‘Anything you forget to bring we’ll get shipped over. Or just buy you new stuff. Better stuff. Just take your passport, baby. That’s all you need.’

I shook my head in disbelief and fetched my passport. Fine, I thought. I’m just going to trust these guys. I might be carrying their baby, after all.
